The 5th ESP Europe Conference took place from 18–22 November 2024 in Wageningen, Netherlands, with the theme “Ecosystem Services: One Planet, One Health.” This year, the conference focused on two key thematic streams: “Ecosystem Services and Health” and “Ecosystem Services and Conditions for Transformative Change.” These themes aimed to examine the role of ecosystem services in promoting health and driving essential changes within society.
The PLANES team actively participated in the conference, engaging in multiple sessions and discussions, contributing to research advancements, and reflecting on how ecosystem services science and practice must work within individuals and communities that depend on nature for their well-being.
