The PLANES team actively participated in the fourth ESP conference in Heraklion (Crete) from 10th to 14th October. It was a week full of meetings and discussions and an excellent opportunity to reflect on how ecosystem services science and practice need to actively work with and within individuals and communities who depend on nature for their well-being.
